Record a quick video of what you built and the problem it solves. Anonymize and redact whatever you need to. The judges will be evaluating your workflow and approach, not your real numbers.

How many hours saved per week? What is the impact on accuracy? The best entries will have a clear before and after, even if just an estimate
Creativity
We want to see workflows that use AI in a way that makes you think, "Why wasn't this always done this way?"

No, if you've already built something that solves a real finance problem, submit it, and our panel of judges will evaluate. There is no problem submitting retrospective ideas.
Anonymize it. Use dummy figures, hide the company name, redact whatever you need to. The judges are evaluating your workflow and approach, not your real numbers.
Any tool, and any combination of tools. ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier, Make, Excel, Python, Notion - there are no restrictions.
Yes, teams are welcome. If your team is declared a winner, the value of the prize will be split among all members. For example, a two-person team winning 1st place would each receive a $550 voucher.
In order to complete your submission, please submit a short Loom or screen recording showing your workflow in action, and a short written description of what your workflow does and the problem it solves.
We understand AI may be unfamiliar territory for many finance professionals. Free 20-minute 1:1 sessions with Paul Barnhurst and other AI experts are available throughout the submission window for all registrants. Slots are limited, book early to secure yours.
No, FinHack is open to participants globally. Anyone working in a finance role can register and submit.
