Refer setup guideAbout Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is a cloud financial management system from Sage, built for growing and mid-sized companies, nonprofits, and multi-entity organizations. Its dimensional general ledger tags each transaction with its department, location, project, or entity, so finance teams can report on any of them without adding accounts. Teams use it to automate payables, receivables, revenue recognition, and consolidation, close faster, and keep an audit-ready record of every entry.
Put your Sage Intacct actuals to work across the business
[ 01 ]
Plan on Sage Intacct actuals and operational data in one model
Drivetrain connects your Sage Intacct general ledger with your operational systems, bringing everything into a single model in place of reports pasted into Excel.
Each sync lines up your operational data with your actuals, so when revenue or spend misses the plan, you can see what caused it.

[ 02 ]
Match your Sage Intacct subtotals in every report
Drivetrain brings in your Sage Intacct accounts with the groupings your controller set up, so your P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow show the same subtotals as their reports.
Every sync updates those statements, so the board report is ready after close, with nothing exported or reformatted in Excel.

[ 03 ]
Consolidate every Sage Intacc entity into one set of financials
Connect each Sage Intacc organisation to Drivetrain and map its accounts to your group chart of accounts. Every sync then rolls them up into one group P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, with currencies converted and intercompany transactions eliminated.
The group numbers are built from each organisation's journal lines, so you can trace any figure back to the line behind it.

[ 04 ]
Let department heads see their budget vs. actuals
Your Sage Intacct departments come across on every general ledger entry, so you can give each department head a view of their own budget vs. actuals.
Since actuals update with each sync, they can check their remaining budget mid-month without having to ask you.

What data does Drivetrain sync from Sage Intacct?
By default: General ledger entries, batches, and journals; accounts, account ranges, and statistical accounts; account groups with their hierarchy and members; classes, departments, and vendors.
Added at setup: general ledger budgets, locations, projects, customers, employees, items, AP and AR, and contracts with their revenue and billing schedules.
Does Drivetrain sync Sage Intacct user-defined dimensions and class?
Yes. General ledger entries arrive with department, location, class, and the standard dimensions Sage Intacct posts on them, plus the user-defined dimensions you created. Your department and class hierarchies sync too, so you can plan and report by class the way you post it.
How often does Drivetrain refresh Sage Intacct data?
On the schedule set at onboarding, or on demand. Once the first full load is done, a sync brings only the records changed since the previous one, so a refresh doesn't reload your full history.
What happens in Drivetrain when an entry is deleted or reversed in Sage Intacct?
A reversal is a new entry in Sage Intacct, so it syncs like any other. For deletions, with auditing enabled in Sage Intacct, each sync checks journal entries against what's already loaded and removes the ones deleted, so your actuals in Drivetrain match Sage Intacct after a correction.
Do new Sage Intacct accounts, departments, and vendors come into Drivetrain automatically?
Yes. They are records like any other, so the next sync brings them in. You don't keep a master list of accounts or vendors in Drivetrain by hand.
