About Acumatica
Acumatica is a cloud ERP for mid-market companies in distribution, manufacturing, construction, and services. Financials, projects, inventory, and order management run in one system, and its general ledger reports by branch and by segmented subaccount, so each transaction carries the structure of the business.
Turn your Acumatica ledger into a plan for each branch
[ 01 ]
Plan on Acumatica actuals and your operational data in one model
Drivetrain syncs your Acumatica general ledger transaction lines alongside your other operational systems, so actuals, pipeline, and headcount land in one model instead of spreadsheets you copy and paste each month.
When the board asks what a two-month hiring delay does to margin, you model it from the hiring plan and the actuals you just closed.

[ 02 ]
Plan by branch and subaccount, the way you run the business
Drivetrain brings across the branch and subaccount on each Acumatica GL transaction line. Map your subaccount segments once, and you plan and report by each one, the way you run the business.
Group your branches the way you manage them, by region or business line, and each sync fills that hierarchy, so every division's budget vs. actuals updates without finance rebuilding it in Excel.

[ 03 ]
Drill from the P&L to the branch, the project, and the transaction
Drivetrain builds your P&L from Acumatica's GL transaction lines, so it matches your controller's books, and any total drills down to the branch, the project, and the transaction lines.
When the board asks what's behind a variance, you open it down to the project and the transaction lines and answer in the meeting.

[ 04 ]
Give each branch manager their own budget vs. actuals
Each Acumatica GL transaction line carries its branch, so Drivetrain can give each branch head a view of their own budget vs. actuals, filled in on each sync.
Heads can check spend against budget and drill to the lines themselves, so finance stops building an Excel for each branch after the close.

How does Drivetrain connect to Acumatica?
Through Acumatica's contract-based REST API. Your admin enters your instance URL and an Acumatica user whose role gives access to the ledger and master data, then picks a start date and the objects to sync, and the first load begins.
What data does Drivetrain sync from Acumatica?
Ledger: GL transaction lines, with the branch and subaccount posted on them.
Master data: accounts, branches, subaccounts, customers, vendors, and projects.
You choose the objects at setup from those your instance exposes.
Do Acumatica branches and subaccount segments come across in Drivetrain?
Yes. Each general ledger transaction line arrives with its branch and subaccount. Map the subaccount segments to Drivetrain dimensions once, and you plan and report by each segment from then on.
How often does Acumatica data refresh in Drivetrain?
On the cadence you set at onboarding, for example once a day after your overnight posting run. When your accounting team has just posted a change, start a sync yourself instead of waiting for the next run.
What happens when a journal entry is posted in Acumatica after the month closes?
The next sync picks it up and updates that month's actuals. Your budget doesn't move, so the entry widens or narrows the variance.
What happens when we add a GL account or subaccount in Acumatica?
The next sync adds it. Place it in your hierarchy once, and its transactions land there from then on.
Can Drivetrain consolidate Acumatica with another ERP?
Yes. Connect each ERP and map both to one group chart of accounts. Drivetrain then translates currencies and eliminates intercompany balances each close, by rules you set once: by account, by transaction, or as a fixed amount.
